MyNine provides random video chat. You are not asked to create an account or provide a name, email address, profile details, or identity document to start a conversation. We do not intentionally collect or store the content of live audio/video conversations. However, “no data at all” would be inaccurate: the hosting/network providers may process technical connection data, and payment providers process payment information when you buy access.

Who is responsible?

Information processed

• Technical connection data, which may include IP address, device/browser details, timestamps and security logs held by hosting providers.
• Country-level routing information supplied by the hosting platform to support matching and country restrictions.
• The public homepage records a visit event and uses a random browser-generated visitor identifier stored in browser storage to count returning visitors. This identifier is not a name, email address, or account profile, and visitors are not asked to provide those details to start a conversation. Because online identifiers and technical logs can still be treated as personal data under some privacy laws, we disclose this limited processing rather than claiming that no data is collected.
• Camera and microphone data when you grant browser permission and start a live conversation.
• Payment references and status if you buy access. Stripe handles checkout and card details.
• Information you voluntarily send for support or safety reports.

Live audio and video

Camera and microphone access requires your permission. Do not assume a conversation is private from the other participant, who may independently capture what they see or hear. This policy does not promise that all network providers process no technical metadata.

Purposes and legal bases

Information may be used to provide matching and chat, secure the service, prevent abuse, measure usage, confirm purchases, provide support and meet legal obligations. Depending on the purpose, the legal basis may be performance of a service contract, legitimate interests, legal obligation or consent where required. You may withdraw consent for future processing where consent is the basis.

Providers and transfers

MyNine uses Cloudflare infrastructure and Stripe for payments. These providers process information under their applicable terms. International transfers and safeguards should be reviewed against the actual configuration.

Retention

Analytics records are configured to expire after approximately 400 days. Access, payment and infrastructure logs may have different retention periods. Information should be kept no longer than necessary for its purpose or a legal obligation.

Your rights

Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability, object to some processing, or withdraw consent. You may also complain to your data protection authority. For privacy questions, email hello@mynine.online.

Cookies and storage

Browser storage or cookies may be used for access, security and essential functionality. Any non-essential analytics or advertising tools added later should be disclosed and consent obtained where required.

Children and safety

Do not use MyNine unless you meet the service’s published minimum age and applicable legal requirements. The operator should publish and enforce clear age and safety rules.

Security and updates

Reasonable safeguards are used, but no internet service can guarantee absolute security. This policy may change when the service or its data practices change.
